Frequently asked questions
- Do you have insurance?
- Yes, I have full Public Liability Insurance and insurance covering accidents involving animals under my care. I will present my certificate of insurance on our first meeting.
- Are you DBS checked?
- Yes, I have a basic DBS check certificate that I will present to you on our first meeting.
- Do you have a key policy?
- Yes, your keys are numbered rather than have an address. I have a secure document that identifies which key relates to each client. Keys are only accessed on the day they are required.
- What if my dog gets wet and dirty?
- Your dog will be towel dried as much as possible but they will not look like it just got back from the groomers!
- What if my dog gets ill or has an accident?
- I will administer first aid at the scene if required, and will then contact you immediately. As part of the registration process, I will take your vet's details so in the case of emergency, will contact them directly and take your dog straight there.
- Are you Canine First Aid trained?
- Yes, I am fully qualified to administer canine first aid.
- What areas do your dog walks cover?
- I offer my dog walking services in Lepton, Kirkburton, Shelley, Shepley, Emley Moor, Thurstonland, Stocksmoor & Farnley Tyas.
- When do you work?
- I work Monday to Friday 8am - 6pm, Saturday 10am - 3pm. Sunday is my day off dog walking but I am available for home visits.
- How do I pay?

I will email you an invoice every Friday for services provided that week, with payment being due by bank transfer on the same day.
If you do not wish to use internet banking I can also take payment in cash, cheque or Paypal.
